With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ona Danker (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), born in Bryant, South Dakota, who passed away on April 20, 2018 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence C. Danker; her parents, William Schultz and Emma Schultz; and her siblings, William Schultz, John E. Schultz, Denton Schultz, Betty Schultz, Margaret Schultz and Marilyn Benishek.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry E. Danker (Lorie) and William J. Danker (Cyndi Houser); her granddaughter Stephanie Danker; and her sister Shirley Larsen of Grinnell.
In Lieu of flowers, she requested donations be made to Camp Courageous or Unity Point Hospice.
