It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Chavez (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), who passed away on February 21, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Fred; her son Daniel; and her grandson Emrys Thomas Taylor. She is survived by: her children, JoEllen Ritchie (David), Fredrick Chavez, Jr, John "Flavious" Chavez, David Chavez, Randy Chavez (Pearl) and Benita Messer (Ray); her daughter-in-law Christine Chavez; her brother Andy Soteco (Pam); her parents, Laurence "John" and Caroline Mathew Miller; and her spouse Fredrick Joseph Chavez. She is also survived by grandchildren, forty-three great grandchildren, and eight great great-grandchildren.
