She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph A. Powers and Julia F. Powers (McMahon); her sisters, Mary Klein (Oliver), Joan Kann (Wallace) and Julia Darlene Powers; and her sister-in-law Holly Powers.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Burke; her children, Linda Schultz (David) of Naples, Peggy Chute of Marion, John Burke (Sheryl) of Robins, Carol Kraayenbrink (Dave) of Waukee and Brenda Stroschein (Bill) of Marion; her grandchildren, Carrie Semelroth (Ted), Emily Schultz (Wes Mallgren), Sara DeWitt (Brandon), Dan Chute, Ava, Olivia Burke, Danielle, Nicole Kraayenbrink, Jordan (Kaelin), Austin, Ryan and Madison Stroschein; her great grandchildren, Landon, Addyson, Aiden Semelroth, Gavin, Quinton Mallgren, Grace and Atlee DeWitt; and her brothers, George Powers and Joe Powers (Janet). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
