It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick D. Holmes of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on August 11, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Holmes and Agnes Holmes; and his siblings, James, Harry, Frances and Kathryn VanDeusen.

He is survived by: his siblings, William, David (Marilyn), Joseph, Francis, George, Mary Roff (Roger), Therese Wirtz (Dave), Dorothy and Christina (Cody); and his siblings-in-law, Tom VanDeusen (Amber) and Rita Holmes.

Memorials may be directed in his honor to the Willis Dady Homeless Shelter, 1247 4th Avenue S.E., Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52403.
