She was predeceased by: her children, Karen Jewel Howard, Clifford L. Howard and Marlene J. Schultz; and her siblings, Wayne and Lois.
She is survived by: her parents, Orren Victor and Helen Edith Shoemaker (Pinney); her spouse Kenneth W. Howard; her children, Judy Messina of Tucson, AZ and Karla Gilbert (Justin) of Marion, IA; her son-in-law Robert Schultz of Nevada; and her siblings, Roy Shoemaker (Irene), Kathleen Parkin and Alice Oertel. She is also survived by six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
