We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2021, at the age of 82, Richard A. Oberreuter of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius Oberreuter and Agnes Oberreuter (Fitzgerald). He is survived by: his wife Violet Vargason; his sons, Todd Oberreuter (Deb) and Thomas Oberreuter (Lori); his grandchildren, Brad, Dawn, Adam, Ryan and Alex; and his siblings, Mary Oberreuter (Mike Mastain) and Gary Oberreuter. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
