He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Banes and Agnes Banes (Yilek); his former wife Barb; his siblings, Carlene, Betty, Vernon, Franklin and Allan; and his son-in-law Neil Schulte.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Marie Kadlec (Ziemer); his children, Thomas and Jane Banes; his granddaughters, Brianna and Christine Schulte; his great grandchildren, Adam, Ashley, Nicole, Trent, Sarah, Cynthia and Scott Minehart; his brother Roger Banes of Bonney Lake, Washington; his stepsons, Kenneth and Keith (Justine); his stepgrandchildren, Cameron, Maci, Madison, Karen Graber and Kate; and also, Lewis, Kyle, Amanda, Dan, Terri Banes, Danika, Chelsey, Hunter, Emi, Randy Banes (Nancy Blanchard), Lindsey, Molly, Tim, Karen Banes, Tucker, Michael, Kevin (Traci), Jake, Kurt Kadlec, Samuel, Lauren, Cora, Rhett, Rowan, Isabella, Julia, Kaston, Kannen, Sutton, Gabe and Tate.
