He is survived by: his children, Kara Nelson of Cumming, GA, Kathy Hilmo of Asheville, NC, Michael Nelson (Jackie) of Clinton, IA and Matthew Nelson (Karen) of Walford, IA; his grandchildren, Tye Hilmo, Ross Hilmo, Rachel Nelson, Elliott Nelson and Daniel Nelson; his brothers, David Nelson (Judy) and Harold Nelson Jr.; and his pet Minnie.
