He was predeceased by: his daughter Barbara Jane; his grandson Matthew Bruch; his brother Wayne; and his parents, Ewald Bruch and LaVera Westendorf Bruch.
He is survived by: his children, David Bruch (Sue) of Waterloo, Linda Bruch of Cedar Rapids, Eric Bruch of New Hartford and Kevin Bruch of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Shannon, Hayleigh, Jon, Anna, Katy and Jacob; and his wife Maralyn Joy Barfield. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
