He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhold Gross and Mildred Gross (Rayl); his son Robert, Jr.; and his brothers, Bill Gross and Jerry Gross.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Grace Unger; his children, Tammy Becker (Russell) of Toddville, IA, Michael Gross (Cathy) of Palo, IA and Brenda Cahill (Steve) of Palo, IA; his grandchildren, Dustin Gross (Keegan), AJ Gross (Jessica), Elizabeth Becker, Emily Scheibe (Sean), Courtney Johnson (Neal), Leanne Becker, Cole Gross (Kaylee) and Tricia Becker; his sister Barbara Cook of Hutchinson, KS; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Gross of Larned, KS and Janis Pierson of Hutchinson, KS. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and living relatives.
