He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Lee Tallman and Shirley Ann Tallman (Sutherland); his wife Karen Rinehart; his stepchild Terry; his brother-in-law Dale; his niece Michelle "Mickey" Fountain Brayton; and his uncle Bill.
He is survived by: his children, Randy, Penny Jeff, Doug, Todd, Scott and Darla; his grandchildren, Matthew and Brittany; and his siblings, Michael Freeman of Texas, David Tallman (Dennis), Pat Fountain of Canton and Debbie Taylor (Gary) of Anamosa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
