It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Saari of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Virginia, Minnesota, who passed away on April 10, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Saari and Charlotte Saari (Woods); his brothers, David and Duane Saari; and his parents-in-law, Ralph and Ila Hepker.
He is survived by: his former wife Shari Blaylock; his wife Vicki Saari of Cedar Rapids; his children, Tiffany Kuehl (Rodney) of Fairfax, Iowa, Joe Saari of Cedar Rapids, Casey Saari of Hiawatha and Cody Saari (Amy) of Chattaroy, Washington; his grandchildren, Crystal Barnett (Gage) of Cedar Rapids, Courtney Kiburz (Alec) of Cedar Rapids, Cassidy Kuehl (James Russell) of Cedar Rapids, Colby Manley of Cedar Rapids, Olivia Saari of The Woodlands, Jameson Saari of The Woodlands, Henry Saari of Chattaroy and Bradley Saari of Chattaroy, Washington; his former wife Shari Saari of Cedar Rapids; his sisters, Jill Fitzpatrick (Mike) of Cedar Rapids and Janelle Kurth (Dave) of Millstadt, Illinois; his siblings-in-law, Sue Saari of Robins, Laurie Saari of Imperial, Missouri and Mike Hepker of Vinton, Iowa; and his daughter-in-law Niki Baker of The Woodlands, Texas.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
