He was predeceased by: his father Marvin Zitek; and his granddaughter Makaela Ann Ness. He is survived by: his mother Betty Zitek (Novotny); his wife Linda Zitek (Seay); his children, Erin Pinter (Andy) of Cedar Rapids and Kari Ness (Dan) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Madison, Kasen Pinter, Easton and Rylan Ness; his brother Russell Zitek; his uncle Donald; and his aunt Delores Novotny.
