It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosetta Tyson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Forrest City, Arkansas, who passed away on March 30, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Trice and Pearlie Mae Trice (Sims); her children, Calvin Weaver, Barbara Broughton and Lisa Broughton-Miller; her granddaughter Shaniqua Broughton; and her sisters, Willie Mae Weaver and Jackie Palmer.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest C. Tyson, Jr. of Cedar Rapids; her children, James Broughton (Jennifer) of Clinton, Sarah Broughton Buford (Otis) of Lakeland and Tyisha Armour-Curtis (Johnathan) of Cedar Rapids; and her sister Joann Schutte (Floyd) of Camanche, Iowa.
