She was predeceased by: her son Dominic Smith; her father Robert Smith; her siblings, Robert Smith, Tonna Liht, Renee Smith, Keith Smith and Jim Smith; and her mother Helen Hawkins Brown.
She is survived by: her daughter Kenna Kase (Pierre) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Zakarius Kase, Damien Smith, Isaac Smith and Zakaya Stokes; and her sisters, Connie Jaminson (Randy) of Anderson, SC and Denise Peter of Cedar Rapids.
Per Covid guidelines, attendees are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
