She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Martin and William Martin; her husband Gerry Brown; and her grandson Derek Brown. She is survived by: her children, Randy of Sandia Park, Kim of Ottumwa, Iowa, Dawn Given (Brown) of Deltona and Tonja Brannaman (Brown) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and her sister Berniece Christensen of Auburn, Indiana.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren.
