She was predeceased by: her siblings, Jerry Bascom and Debbie Bascom; and her parents, Edgar Bascom and Luella Bascom (Evans). She is survived by: her children, Geri Norton (Brooks) of Cedar Rapids, Jaci Morrow (Scott) of Casa Grande, AZ and Tim Childers (Amy Petersen) of Evansdale, IA; her grandchildren, Roechelle, Daniel, Victor and Katey; and her sisters, Mary Zahn of Cedar Rapids, Patty Bascom of Cedar Rapids and Bonnie Joyner of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her name to the Catherine McAuley Center, 1220 5th Ave SE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52403.
