He was predeceased by: his father Dale Snyder. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Snyder; his wife Tarayssa Fairchild; his stepchildren, Chasity Brimeyer (Scott), Char Turner, Travis Dee (Damia) and Ryan Fairchild; his stepsister Shannon Fadeley (Donnie); and his siblings, David and Ann Tierney (Rod). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha in his name or to the family.
