She was predeceased by: her parents, Alma J. Schafer and Hoecker; and her siblings, Charles Schafer and Marlene Ray. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Eckhart (Jim) of Palo, IA, Julie Scheetz (Patrick) of North Liberty, IA and Mark Wellman (Kim) of Peoria, IL; her grandsons, Tim and Tyler Wellman; and her sister Sharon Morrall (Dennis) of Quincy, IL. She is also survived by two step-granddaughters and two step-great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions maybe made in her name to the Hillside Wesleyan food pantry or the Hall-Perrine Cancer Center.
