It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Nurre (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), born in Colesburg, Iowa, who passed away on May 29, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Floyd (Dorothy), Robert (Ruth), James (John Nurre) and Helen Schechtman (Merle); and his parents, Benjamin Nurre and Eleanore Hoefer Nurre.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellyn; his children, Mary Peters (Carl) of Fulton, MD and Mark Nurre of Marion; his granddaughters, Alyssa Peters of Hermitage, PA and Alexandra Peters of Orlando, FL.; and his sisters-in-law, Edna Nurre of Cedar Rapids and Ginny Nurre of Phoenix, AZ..
