He was predeceased by: his father Don Bontrager; and his grandparents, Cecil, Mary Bontrager, Thomas and Kathleen Hobson.
He is survived by: his mother Lillian Sailor; his stepfather Harlan Sailor; his sons, Chad Begley, Zach Bontrager and Dalton Heick-Trump; his grandson Tyse Lee; his siblings, Todd (Kim Bontrager) and Kim Bontrager; his stepmother Ruth Bontrager; his half-sisters, Keri VanSant and Kala Bontrager; and his cousins, Ember, Danielle and Kylie. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
