He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Long and Anna Long (Unash); and his wife Kay. He is survived by: his sister Pat A. Hartle of Hiawatha; and his daughter Lesta Sarazin (Kenny Robertson).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha in his name.
