Virginia Regan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2017, at the age of 91, Virginia Regan (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandson Nicholas Schmidt; her friends, Connie Conway and Barbara Moore; and her sister Irene. She is survived by: her children, Brian of Evanston, Kathy Schmidt (Herb) of West Burlington and Joe of Chicago; her granddaughters, Katie Schmidt and Annie Schmidt; her sisters-in-law, Kay McWhinney (Jon) and Jane Regan; her parents, James McDonnell and Sarah McDonnell (Burns); her spouse James E. Regan; her friend Liz Valliere; and also Day. She is also survived by 13 children, Virginia was preceded in death by six sisters and six brothers; Sister.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Mercy University, Mercy Hallmar or to your favorite charity.
