With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vivian Ruth Lawrence of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Jefferson, Iowa, who passed away on June 5, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Blackburn and Luella Blackburn (Brower); her former husband William Lawrence; her daughter Peggy Hines; her siblings, Norman, Gerald, Hubert Blackburn, Lois Blackburn and Gloria Brown; and her daughter-in-law Mariana Lawrence.
She is survived by: her children, Perry Lawrence of Cedar Rapids, Jerry Lawrence of Des Moines and Jill Lawrence (Don Quijano); her son-in-law Jim Hines of Marion; and her sister-in-law Carol King. She is also survived by five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
