It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Hill (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), who passed away on March 22, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Harold, Cleo, Naomi, George, Richard, Betty, James and Mahlon.
He is survived by: his spouses, Mary Patricia Barker and Pat; his children, Joe Hill (Yolanda), Kay Meaney (Mike), Dennis Hill (Joan Schlenk), Greg Hill (Renee) and Bill Hill (Lisa); and his sister Nancy. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight.
