He is survived by: his wife Leota; his children, Joyce Duffy (Patrick) of Waldo, WI, June Ellis (Robert) of Marion, David (Debra) of San Jose, CA and Daniel (Kay) of Marion; his brothers, Robert (Laura Lee) of Cedar Rapids and Patrick (Catherine) of Ames; his sister-in-law Marilyn Burns of Sun City, AZ.; and his parents, Patrick Nonatus Burns and Mary Ellen "Nellie" Scallon. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
