He was predeceased by: his brother Wayne Newnum; his nephew Brian Scott Newnum; his brother-in-law Harold D. Burgess; and his friend George. He is survived by: his siblings, Ruthanna Williamson (Steve) of Crawfordsville, IN, Linda Jo Newnum of Crawfordsville, IN and Dale Michael Newnum (Linda Merchant-Newnum) of Cedar Rapids, IA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
