He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wagner and Ellen Wagner (Amundson); his stepmother Ethel Wagner; his siblings, Robert Wagner, Jean Ann Shoemake, Shirley Brown and Leatrice Lansing; and his brothers-in-law, Cal Shoemake, Jack Brown, Bill Madden and Bob Lansing.
He is survived by: his wife Maureen of Cedar Rapids; his children, Beverly Bassett (Mike) of Center Point, Eric Wagner of North Liberty and Lori Strait (Greg) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Keefe, Brody, Connor, Zachary, Adam, Joshua and Steven; and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Wagner of Bellevue.
