She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Ficek Sr.; her daughter Lori Langan (Ficek); her grandchildren, Amanda and Zach; her parents, Harold Stanley and Hazel Stanley (Weaver); and her brothers, Max Stanley and Virgil Stanley (Joan).
She is survived by: her children, Lawrence Ficek and Lona Smart (Chris Kern); her son-in-law Michael Langan; her grandchildren, Kyleigh Austin (Smart), Alexander Smart, Dylan Langan, Brandley Langan and Logan Ficek; and her sisters-in-law, Bernice Swenson (Jon), Judy Ficek (Sue Davis) and Shirley Stanley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Alice Methodist Church (4617 Alice Rd, Center Point, IA 52213).
