He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Sponsler and Louise Sponsler; and his grandparents, Winfield, Pearl Sponsler, Don and Dortha Horton.
He is survived by: his former spouse Lynn Greubel; his wife Tammy; his children, David J. Sponsler (DJ), JoDee Claussen (Taylor), Lance Sponsler (Melanie), Kolby Blair (Sydney Batz) and Kelly Degner (Wesley); his grandchildren, Malayia, Michael, Emily, Jessa, Slate, Kroy, Grant and Sutton; his great grandchild Azariah; and his siblings, Roxanne Burton (Bobby), Cindy Parker (Denny) and Scott Sponsler (Kim). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
