We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2020, at the age of 92, Dale E. Cottrell of Chariton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Cottrell and Margaret Cottrell; his wife Fern Sellers; and his sister Ethel Prough Printy. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Chase (Larry) of Chariton, Joyce Thomas (Mike) of Centerville and Janet Abrahamson (Dewey) of Rathbun; his grandchildren, Michelle Hyman (Dave) of Keota, Brenda Kotewa (Brian) of Bellingham, Anne Ryan (Tim) of Seymour, Lisa Taylor of Cincinnati, Brian Abrahamson (Dottie) of Ankeny, Megan Munoz (Felix) of Cedar Rapids and Sara Davidson (James) of Granger; his great grandchildren, Laura, Justin, Christopher Abrahamson, Cortney, Matthew, Branden Hyman, Julia, Gabe Kotewa, Yesmina Lloyd, Leah Rinchiuso, Braxtyn, Degan Ryan, Giana Dantzler, Levi, Will, Olivia Munoz and Genevieve Davidson; his sister Doris Christensen (Ron); and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Sellers, Marilyn James (Jack) and Wretha Paige.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the local libraries, Every Step Hospice of Knoxville, or the Chariton River Valley Antique Tractor Club.
