It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harlan Lewis Ranshaw (Chariton, Iowa), who passed away on June 13, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Ranshaw and Fern Ranshaw (Swisher); his sisters, Bernice Foster and Pauline Gallup; and his great grandchild Paula.
He is survived by: his former wife Betty Genck; his wife Delores Ranshaw; his daughters, Linda Brown (Ron), Sheryl Reed (Chuck) and Karen Adams (Dan); his grandchildren, Richard Brown, Cary Brown (Dawn), Elizabeth Reed, Ellen Reed, Megan Royer (Dalton) and Rachel Strong (Matt); his great grandchildren, Daegan, Dalton, Danica, Mia, Dexter Lewis and German; and his granddaughter Hannah Porsch.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to First Lutheran Church in Chariton, Iowa or Lutheran Lakeside Camp in Spirit Lake, Iowa.
