She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Parkhurst and Ludell Parkhurst; her husband Homer Arnold; her daughter Julia Ash; and her siblings, Cleo Miles, Joe Parkhurst and Dean Stewart.
She is survived by: her daughters, Iris Parker and Kathy Miller (Ed); her grandchildren, Mike Merrill, Cindy Snook Merrill, Tammy Herndon, Jenny Wagner (Richard) and Teresa Chambers (Willis); and her siblings, Peggy Hudson (Brian) and Harry Parkhurst (Shelby). She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in Irene's name to Legacy Lodge Hospice in Chariton.
