It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Dewey Williams of Chariton, Iowa, who passed away on July 26, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Williams and Delorsia Williams; and his siblings, Diana Williams, Virginia Strebin, Helen Terrell (Olan) and Chuck Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Williams of Chariton; his children, Lori Millard (Williams) of Urbandale, IA and Scott Williams of Chariton; his grandsons, Benjamin Tallman of Urbandale, IA, Jerrick and Daven Williams of West Wendover, NV.; his sister-in-law Barb Williams; his sibling's children, Robin Williams, Laurie Williams, Jen Tjepkes (Brett), LeRoy Terrell (Sue) and Kim Dhabolt (Toby); his sister-in-law Carolyn Brinkley; his nephews, Garry Brinkley (Sandy) and Bryan Brinkley (Brenda); his sister-in-law Verla Pitzen (David); his nephews, Michael Pitzen and Bill Pitzen (Karla); his sister-in-law Connie Risbeck (Robert); his sibling's children, Nicole Shultz (Grant), Ryan Risbeck (Heather), Walter and Jimmy Terrell; and his brothers-in-law, Kenneth, Daryl Brewer and Keith Brinkley.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in his name to the American Cancer Society.
