We are sad to announce that on November 20, 2018, at the age of 87, Jerry Dean McGee (Chariton, Iowa), born in Melrose, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack McGee and Leora McGee; his granddaughter Katelyn Joy Lacey; his siblings, Matthew McGee, Mary Egbert, Inez Jones, Mildred Elwood, Thomas McGee, Joe McGee, John McGee, Mike McGee, Charles McGee, Connie McGee and Ray McGee; and his friend Charlie O'Steen.
He is survived by: his children, Matt McGee (Susan), Denny McGee (Brenda), Larry McGee (Sandy), Lorrie Graves (Bruce), Gerry Evans (Rae), Bill McGee (Jeanette), Rick McGee (Sherri), Alan McGee (Jodi), Teresa Richards (Donnie), Jenifer Streigle, Brad McGee (Jami), Amanda DeMaria (Tony) and Joy Drake; his sister Marcella Zacanti; and his nephew Bob McGee. He is also survived by 46 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your choice of volunteer fire departments, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or Circle of Life Hospice in Chariton.
