He is survived by: his mother Ida Mae Carpenter; his wife Carol Jean McClaflin; his children, Amber Parker (Michael) of Fayetteville, AR, Adam Moore (Stephanie) of Union Grove, WI, Blake McClaflin (Mallory) of Knoxville, IA and Shelby Butorac (Thomas) of Dubuque, IA; his grandchildren, Jenna Moore and Travis Moore; and his siblings, Susan Hicks (Doug) of Walnut Grove, MO and Bruce McClaflin (Paula) of Osceola, IA..
