He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Fjelstul and Cora Fjelstul (Field); his siblings, Norman Fjelstul, Maynard (Gladys), Charles Richard Fjelstul (Chris) and Charlotte Ruth Huber (Francis); and his siblings-in-law, Iris Anderson (Wesley), David Nelson (Wanda) and Ronald Nelson.

He is survived by : his wife Rosemary Nelson.
