It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne I. Newsom of Charles City, Iowa, born in Clinton, Iowa, who passed away on October 25, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Milton Newsom and Anna Mae Newsom (Gammon); his wife Connie Schultz; his brothers, John and David; and his nephew John Newsom.

He is survived by : his children, Renee Gregorich (James) of Sioux City, IA, Robert Newsom of Goose Lake and William Newsom (Cheri) of Greene, IA; and his grandchildren, Alena, Kane and Tobias. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
