Evelyn J. Berglund Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn J. Berglund of Cherokee, Iowa, who passed away on March 17, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Weinreich and Florence Weinreich (Manker); her husband Arnie; her son Robert; her grandson Brian Whyte; and her brothers, Rex, Dean and Wayne Weinreich.

She is survived by: her former husband Carl Arnold Berglund; her children, Jane Whyte (Scott) of Goldfield, Tom Berglund of Daytona Beach, Jill Freed (Lance) of West Okoboji and Dan Berglund (Lori) of Storm Lake; her grandchildren, Heather Johnson (Kurt) of Des Moines, Heidi Gregg (Cameron) of Elkhorn, Preston Freed (Jillian) of Yardley, Natalie Anderson (Carl) of Coralville, Christopher Freed of Paullina, Lauren Berglund of St. James, Seth Berglund of Storm Lake and Cobe Berglund of Storm Lake; her great grandchildren, Calvin, Chloe, Charlotte, Lainey of Halle, C. J. and Ainsley; her brother Don Weinreich of Centennial; and her siblings-in-law, Wally Miller Sr. of Cherokee and Dale Weinreich of Buena Park, California..
