With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Allen L. Wenndt of Clarence, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 14, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Allen departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Allen may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Allen leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Wenndt and Leona Wenndt (Gade); his former wife Sandy Mohr; and his brother Eugene. He is survived by: his wife Sig Schlotfeldt; his sons, Alex Wenndt, Andy Wenndt of Cedar Rapids and Kory (Stacy) of Denver, CO; his brother Herbert Wenndt, Jr. of Chariton, IA; and his daughter-in-law Mary Johnson. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandson.
