He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Cashman and Alta Cashman; and his sister Julianne. He is survived by: his wife Linda Benhart; his children, Jamie, Jennie Jensen (Tom) and Jodie Regennitter (Troy) of Clarence; and his grandchildren, Caitlin, Conner and Caylee Jensen.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. John's United Church of Christ (402 9th Ave, Clarence, IA 52216). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
