He was predeceased by : his parents, Clinton Runyan and Dorothy Runyan (Williams); his brothers, Warren Runyan and Bob Runyan; and his sister-in-law Patty Runyan.

He is survived by : his wife Betty Runyan; his daughter Brooke Campbell (Boone); his stepsons, Darin (Jean), Dave and Doug Holste; and his brother Curt Runyan. He is also survived by five step grandchildren; one step great grandchild.
