He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Martin and Betty Martin (Anderson); and his close friend Diane Reed. He is survived by : his wife Brenda Martin (Burgess); his children, Derek Palmertree of New Virginia, Jessica McCulley (John) of Harlan, Haley Martin of Des Moines, Logan Reed (Amber) of Goldfield, Miranda Meinecke (Skylar) of Ankeny, Michael Martin of Des Moines and Lindsey Williams of LuVerne; his grandchildren, Hunter, Eric, Alex and Ryker; his brother Tom Martin (Candice) of Renwick; his aunt Margaret Lubbert of Urbandale; and his pet Risky.
