It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Leyen of Clarksville, Iowa, who passed away on April 5, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, John Leyen and Dorothy Leyen (Deeming); his former life partner Thelma Jean Buchholz; his brothers, Charles Leyen (Ruth) and Flores Leyen (Myrt); his son-in-law Roger Sido; and his brother-in-law Leon Wamsley.
He is survived by : his granddaughter Jeanne; his wife Jeanette Leyen of Clarksville; his children, Jon Leyen (Virginia) of Austin, TX and Jeanne Wright (David) of Decorah, IA; his grandsons, David Wright III, Christopher Leyen (Jessica), Matthew Leyen and Robert Leyen; his great grandchildren, Tanner, Rowen, Graeme, Aurelia and Callahan; his sister Vurel Wamsley of Woodlands, TX; his sister-in-law Judith Anderson (Larry) of Conway, AK.; his daughters, Teresa Sido of Rockwell, IA, Sheryl Frascht, Aviano and Kathy Stiles (Tim) of Rockwell; his grandchildren, Brad Sido (Amanda), Andrea Sonberg (Scott), Marc Sido (Rochelle), Colin Sido (Rachel), Ashley Stiles, Jared Stiles and Jordan Stiles; and his great grandchildren, Liam, Adelyn Sido, Caleb, Gage, Devan Sonberg and Kyleigh Sido.
Family and friends will be asked to wear masks and observe social distancing.
