He was predeceased by: his parent Arthur Maxwell Doenecke. He is survived by: his parent Veronica Doenecke (Kenefick) of Eagle Grove, IA; his wife Norma Doenecke (Shields); and his sister-in-law Kate Palmer of Sydney. He is also survived by two nephews and their wives, plus two grand nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Loyola School in New York or St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
