With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James William Strauss (Clive, Iowa), who passed away on January 16, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Strauss and Ellen Strauss (Danielson); his wife Margaret McCannon; his brother Edward Strauss; and his granddaughter Christina Strauss.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Strauss (Phyllis) of Plano, TX, Jay Strauss (Brenda) of Dallas, GA, Jerry Strauss (Becky), Julie Smith (Jeff) of Reno, NV and Eric Strauss (Amie) of Dunkerton. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
