It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Snitkey of Clive, Iowa, born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on October 15, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Charles and Catherine P. Snitkey (Ennis); and his siblings, Mark Snitkey and Kathleen "Kathy" Barron. He is survived by: his wife Carol Snitkey of Clive; his children, Jason Snitkey of Clive, Shawn Snitkey (Kelly) of Cedar Rapids and Erin Snitkey; his sister Mary "Ginger" Kuhn (Phil) of Waukee, Iowa; his grandchildren, Nicole Snitkey of Walker, Mason Snitkey of Walker, Noel Snitkey of Walker, EmmaLee Snitkey of Walker, Hannah Snitkey of Cedar Rapids and Brennan Snitkey of Cedar Rapids; and his siblings-in-law, Art Barron of Marion and Sherry McKee of Walker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials in Phil's memory may be made to the Walker Fire Department located at 210 Park Street, P.O. Box 21, in Walker, Iowa, 52352-0021.
