We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2020, at the age of 73, Richard Carl Perlberg of Clive, Iowa, born in Ironwood, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Perlberg and Saima Perlberg (Toivonen); his former wife Jayne Greuel; his parents-in-law, Elmer, Mary Greuel and Roseva Rucker; his brothers-in-law, James Greuel and Ron Radl; and his nephew Michael Greuel.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Cooper; his son Brian (Christy); his grandson Kai of San Antonio, TX; his daughter Amanda Nickell (Brent); his grandson Andrew of Urbandale, IA; his stepson Scott Cooper (Robyn); his grandchildren, Davis, Devin of Ankeny, IA, Brian Cooper, Hayley and Braden of Olathe, KS.; his brothers, Skip Perlberg (Gerri) of Milwaukee, WI and Dan Perlberg of Hurley, WI; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Dafflitto of Newton, IA, Barb Mills (Blair) of Fond, Steve Greuel (Nina) of Beloit, WI and John Greuel (Bridget) of Mequon, WI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, there will be a private funeral service at Caldwell Parish in Urbandale, IA, Friday, December 4, 2020 with burial to follow at McLaren's Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines, IA.
In lieu of flowers, MercyOne Hospice is designated for charitable contributions.
