It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gloria Cassabaum of Columbus Junction, Iowa, born in Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on October 15, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Lichtenwald and Margaret Lichtenwald (Koepping); her husband Eugene Cassabaum; her siblings, Helen Brown, Louise Smith, June Peak, Sally Hearst, Norma Jean Stoneking, Peggy Wells, Grace Fordham and Lonnie; and her great grandchild Baby Fern Hartman.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Cassabaum of Lone Tree, Jennifer Lowe (Mark) of Columbus Junction and Christopher of Columbus Junction; her grandchildren, Anna Hartman (Ben), Noah Lowe and Nate Lowe; her great grandchildren, Olive and Juniper Hartman; and her siblings, Donald of Muscatine, Gary of Mount Ida, Arkansas and Alice Winkle of Muscatine. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established at the funeral home in memory of Gloria.
