It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janice Cooley (Columbus Junction, Iowa), born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on May 30, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hamilton and Anne Hamilton (Mason); her husband Howard Cooley; and her son Drew. She is survived by: her daughter Jill Cooley of Des Moines; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Cooley of Morning Sun; her granddaughter Lisa VanAmerongen (Jeff) of Morning Sun; and her great grandchildren, Jeff, Tyler, Garrett, Presley, Abbie, Mason Cooley, Mallory and MacKenzie VanAmerongen.
Graveside services will be held 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2020 at Elmwood Cemetery in Morning Sun. A memorial has been established in Jan's name.
